It’s that time of year again; it’s hunting season. As per usual the Dump & Luke Lake properties/trails will be closed from September 25th until December 31st for Pheasant hunting. Please respect these closures as per the landowner’s request (Norfolk County). PLEASE DO NOT RIDE OR HIKE ON THESE TRAILS UNTIL THEY RE-OPEN! Be aware that seasonal hunting is also permitted on the Anderson Tract & St. Williams Conservation Reserve properties, these trails remain open unless otherwise posted. The Anderson Tract will be closed Nov 2 to 8, & Nov 30 to Dec 6 for the shotgun hunt.

 

During the fall hunt, it’s always a good idea to wear bright colours & try to avoid being out at dawn/dusk. While hunters are active it’s a great time of year to put some hours on your gravel bike or enjoy the other 60 kilometres of trails on our network.
